Hello, my name is Donny, also known as DJ Donny G. I have always had a special connection with music since I was a child. I loved exploring my parents' music collection and listening to records and even the occasional 8-track cassette. At the age of 15, my mother bought me my first guitar, which opened up a whole new world of music for me. I started learning about the history of music and studying the work of my guitar heroes, and before I knew it, I had embarked on a musical journey that has brought me to where I am today.
My DJ career started back in 1998 when a friend asked me to bring some CDs and home speakers to a pool party. From that one event, my friends started asking me to DJ at their graduation parties, and before I knew it, we had saved up enough money to buy our first real set of DJ speakers and a mixer. We kept moving forward, sharpening our skills, and DJing at various events such as weddings, school dances, pig roasts, and other types of parties.
Since then, I have continued to hone my craft and have done many different types of events at various venues. I have DJed a show for a well-known hip-hop artist, and the next day, I was DJing a country wedding in Southern Ohio. I feel incredibly lucky to be doing what I love and being able to provide for my family.
